Some thoughts from Kelcie…
This week has been amazing so far . Last night was decision night for the campers. Moi led an incredible service with the students. They were really moved by the music and many were emotional before PJ even spoke. PJ’s message was remarkable and the campers where listening and taking it seriously. At the end students were asked to stand if they decided to let Christ into their lives. There were quite a few who decided to take that bold stand. It was a blessing to be able to see how God worked through this camp.
Today, after breakfast, we had beach day. It was beautiful; plenty of places to hike and tons of shore line for all to climb rocks or play in the water. Just after arriving at the beach we gave all the students solo time with God. Not even ten minutes later the rain started. And it rained hard. We canceled the rec we had planned and returned to the resort as fast as we could. While waiting for our transportation, some of us got to swim at the beach in the rain . Also, there was a local ice cream shop nearby that everyone tried out. Not a bad way to end this day.
